Mark’s win over 8-ball specialist was worth £10,000. A Leicestershire county pool player, Mark’s main love remains snooker.
And he showed his potential with a shock victory over John Higgins at last season’s World Championship. The ‘Wizard of Wishaw’ was among the fancied players for the title but was no match for the ‘Shark.’
Mark was runner-up to David Gray at the Scottish Open in Aberdeen two years ago and certainly has the game to become a ranking tournament winner.
