Looking quietly, you can seem to see what it has experienced in the hustle and bustle of history. It sticks to the land and people day after day, and witnesses the past, present and future of Huangmei County.
In Niumu Village, there are 109 century-old camphor trees and 1 thousand-year-old camphor tree king. According to the inscription of "Millennium Ancient Camphor Records", it is inferred that this tree should have been planted during the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty, Zhao Heng, more than 1020 years ago. It is listed in the list of "Ten Most Beautiful Ancient Trees in Hubei" and "Five King Trees in Hubei" in Hubei Province.
The project is located in Huangmei Camphor Garden. Family of Childhood draws inspiration from ancient trees, seeks the harmonious coexistence of ancient trees with mountains, rivers and nature, connects ancient camphor trees with surrounding rural tourism, ecotourism and other tourism resources, and leads the development of rural revitalization and agricultural, cultural and tourism industries.
The park covers an area of about 9,897 square meters. The ancient camphor tree is the core clue throughout the site. The theme concept is found from a series of keywords such as "leaves, trunks, and fruits" of the camphor tree. Four major theme amusement areas are set up, including the Gate of Nature, Camphor Guide, God Tree Tribe, and Jungle Adventure, to create a children's theme park full of childlike fun and regional characteristics.
The designers also derived the main IP image of the project, "Camphor Tree Elf", and the secondary IP families "Xiaoying" and "Xiaogu". Through the creation of the core theme scene, the children were told the adventure story of Xiaoying and Xiaogu looking for the camphor tree elves.
Camphor Guide
This is a hula wall made of tree trunks. The theme interactive art installation restores the unique appearance of the tree trunks. The bright green enhances the natural atmosphere and the fun of the site.
The interior is like a maze, with functional designs such as drilling nets, climbing nets, and balance boards. Continuous exploration will trigger different challenges. The three-dimensional space + fine net design provides children with a fully enclosed, safer three-dimensional climbing space.
The camphor-seed-shaped swings and rotating cups also encourage children to socialize, interact and explore in their own way, and open up new dimensions of spatial experience through play.
Shenshu Tribe
Shenshu Tribe draws on the huge tree-like prototype of the thousand-year-old tree, and after crushing, subverting and reorganizing, it integrates modern landscape design concepts to create an eco-friendly theme scene immersed in nature.
The 10-meter-high trunk connects the super-long slide, and the high-altitude expansion connects the canopy and the forest tree house, which is both functional and ornamental. The aerial plank road for all ages includes innovative and challenging game experiences, and at the same time overlooks the landscape of the entire children's venue.
The diversified functions provide children with a play space that can be explored and hidden, with a variety of interactive methods such as climbing, running, jumping and sliding, which are both interesting, challenging and interactive.
We transform the shape of the tree trunk into the equipment shape of the swing, so that children and adults can feel the magic of nature in an entertaining way.
The slope game area makes full use of the original topography of the site, extracts camphor tree leaves and animal images for in-depth design, conducts popular science, interaction, and display, integrates natural ecological knowledge into the theme scene, and combines education with entertainment.
The area is equipped with a variety of amusement equipment such as longhorn beetle climbing, insect drilling nets, leaf climbing, and trunk swings to meet the children's play needs and enhance the interaction between children and the site.
Jungle Adventure
The jungle adventure takes forests and grasslands as the background, shapes the terrain changes with micro-topography structures, simulates the original ecological mountain topography, and combines animal and plant shapes with rock climbing, climbing nets, drilling holes and other game elements. During the play, you can go deep into the woods and explore and observe nature at close range.
The vines surround the huge climbing net, on which there are lush green leaves and bright flowers. When children climb on the climbing net, it is like traveling through the vine jungle, starting an imaginative expansion journey.
Through carefully designed heuristic games, children can have the courage to explore independently and collaborate with their partners.
